Frank and Karen McWilliams, Massachusetts natives, moved to NH after they were married in 1986. Their son and daughter were born and raised in NH. After 25 years in NH, they returned to Massachusetts where they live today. They began this ministry after they were unable to find spiritual support for their son's struggles with opiate addiction. They wanted to find the happiness and peace they once enjoyed as a family and found hope through God’s Mercy. With increased faith and reliance on Jesus they understood that they were not alone and they wanted to share this hope with others. Frank and Karen knew they were being called to help others and started this ministry in a private home in 2013 with a handful of concerned parents and community members and by 2014, it was decided to move it to the Holy Ghost church, Whitman, MA., where it could be offered to many people. The monthly meetings are held on the first Saturday of the month. In addition to that, Fr Mike Hobson celebrates a Mass of Healing for those afflicted and affected by addiction held every fourth Saturday of the month at St Joseph The Worker, Hanson, MA. All are welcome. Please join us to embrace the peace and hope God has to offer us through community prayer and support for one another.
“I used to believe that prayer changes things, but now I know that prayer changes us, and we change things.”
